About wanna go to school in Australia
I’ve decided to make changes in my life and seek higher education outside the states. I have a two-year degree in accunting and financial management from Atlanta here in the states. I like Australia, so any suggestions where in Australia before I start writing to these colleges? I would like to live in a nice town, safe, nice weather (not too hot and not too cold) and best if not far from the ocean, I love the beach. Please advise. Thanks!

About best online college that is both inexpensive and respectable
My fiance is Indian and lives in India. I’m American and live in the US. I’m going to move to India and marry him. As we see it now, we’d like to stay there a few years and then move to the USA (because we’d both rather raise kids here).
He would like to get a bachelor’s degree, and was considering enrolling in an Indian college (he already has a semester’s credit from one, but then took time off). But while I think it’s unfortunate, I know that when we move back to the USA in a few years, most American employers wouldn’t take an Indian degree from a school they’ve never heard of seriously. My friend works with a man who has a doctorate from Guatemala and yet is working with her as a fry cook at Chick Fil A.
So personally, I think that it’d be better if he starting taking online courses from an American university, as Indian employers would respect a degree from America, and American employers would respect some of the online colleges.
But American colleges are so much more expensive than Indian colleges. He makes a normal Indian wage, which means his whole paycheck for a semester isn’t enough to pay for many colleges.
I know the most respectable online degrees come from brick and mortar colleges with online programs, but I’ve not found any that are affordable. Since he’s not a US citizen, he’s not eligible for most, if any, financial aid.
So what I’m asking is: what is the cheapest online school you know of that is also respectable? Of course, I won’t consider any that is not in the US Department of Education’s database of accredited colleges, and I’d prefer a regional accreditation.
Also, I’d consider colleges that are in Canada, Australia, or the UK because (I know it’s biased) but I think they’d be taken seriously by employers in the USA as well.
Also, if any American employers have heard of certain Indian colleges and would respect them, maybe that’s a way to go. I really just don’t want him to devote time, money, and energy into a degree that would be rendered useless if we move countries.
Thank you.
