Well I have a lvl 14 mage, and its in ghostlands. But, it keeps dying! I mean I’m fighting level 14s and 13s and I keep dying! I have pretty good gear made by a master tailor. And I am not a noob, I have a lvl 71 and a level 80. So I do not know why I just keep dying. Is there a way to make mages have better defensive tactics? Because I’m just starting to give up and say that mage is the absolute worst class in the game.

FROST SPEC
Frost bolt spam untill mob gets to you, Frost nova, run a few yards and more frost bolt. mages are not like any other class, the idea is NOT to get hit u cannot tank anything so at first mages are hard to play with but after they become borring 1 button spams.
Well for the most part, frost spec talents are going to help you live longer. Mage’s are hard to level early, but get much easier later, but frost spec would make it easiest, plus you should have your frost armor (I think that was what it’s called) active, it gives you a huge armor boost at the beginning. Other than that, just be careful on what you attack, cause you are a squishy now, meaning you die in like 2 hits.
The whole point of a mage is to kill the aggro before it gets to you. I usually go for the increase stat spell like intellect and armor, then bombard the enemy with firebolt, anything that does the most damage. Mages have high damage, so it all depends on what your current tactics are.
Usually, you just bombard the enemy with firebolt, then go for the ice spell. Also, nova spell which is an area spell is good for getting you out of trouble.
