I am almost 17 and have $10,000 and can have the money in a term of 12 - 18 months.
What bank offers the best interest rates either through a term deposit or other account.
I am currently getting 6.75% with Commowealth’s NetBank Saver.
Thanks

I would recommend BankWest’s TdDirect Term Deposit. They are currently offering 8.1% over a 12 month period. There is a $1000 minimum investment, so you should be right. This is the highest account I could find with no fees or a ridiculously large minimum investment.
You can apply for an account or do some more research into it at http://www.bankwest.com.au/tddirect/?pro… , there is also a interest calculator that you can use.
Hope this helps you, good luck!
